Margaret Ann

Built around 1920, Dutch Barge ‘Margaret Ann’ came to the UK in 2003 and has been in the same ownership since this time.

Starting at the aft, you have a deck area which can be used for dining and entertaining, with hatch access to the engine room, beneath which houses the Ford 6 cylinder diesel engine, water and fuel tanks.

From the stern deck, you move in to the wheelhouse which has been designed and built to allow the sides and roof to be removable to allow access under some of the lower bridges on the River Thames. The wheelhouse has also been setup to include the galley with belfast style sink.  Down a few steps you move to the main saloon which houses a Rayburn solid fuel heater/oven and has access to a large store cupboard.

Through the saloon you move to the shower room with portaloo and in to the main cabin with custom made double bed with fitted drawer units below.

Gas bottle storage is on the fore deck, which has access to the forward hold beneath.

1 petrol and 1 diesel generator and 2 solar panels are included in the sale
